This kit provides all the notions needed to make the Magic Pants for sizes 2XL to 6XL. Included is a ribbed knit panel in the color of your choice, a pair of D-rings in the metal of your choice, twill tape, elastic + sew-on snaps. In addition to this kit, all you need is the main fabric, pocket bag fabric + interfacing.
THE RIB KNIT PANEL IS PRE-CUT TO 9.5” WIDE, which works for sizes 5X-6X. For smaller sizes, simply cut down the width (refer to the rib knit pattern piece before cutting).
This kit contains:
ribbed knit panel
(1) piece of non-roll elastic (13”x 2”)
75” of mid-weight 1/2” twill tape
(2) D-rings (1.75”x1.125” OR 1.5”x .75” interior dimensions)
2 sets of Size 10 sew-on snaps
If you choose silver D-rings, you will get silver snaps. Gold D-rings, you will get black snaps. Let me know if you want otherwise!
These are the notions I have found that work for me but you could play with using a variety of different types of D-rings or snaps (or elastic or twill tape for that matter). The world is your playground!
